Craig started his career with Hausmann-Johnson in 1987.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a BS in Economics, he began working at the agency where his father worked for many years and was also a partner. 

Craig's emphasis early on was working with businesses to develop plans and strategies to mitigate and finance their risk.  Over the years he built a client base that both relied on and trusted his judgment to make their businesses more profitable.  In 2002 he became a partner at the agency and took on additional responsibilities.  Craig was VP of Sales from 2005 to 2011.  He sits on the board of directors for Hausmann-Johnson and is currently the Secretary of the corporation.

Education has always been a priority for Craig and he holds two highly respected designations in the insurance industry: Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager.

Born and raised in Madison, Craig has many connections to the Dane County area.  Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering as a coach, spending time with his family, golfing, and attending sporting events.
